OPERATING PARTNER OF CHALLENGE MACHINING
A machinist, tool & die maker and fabricator for nearly 40 years, Mike learned the trades at a young age in his grandfather’s machine shop. After graduating from trade school, Mike joined the Army in 1988. He continued to develop his skills at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD where he machined, repaired and field-engineered parts for Abram Tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. In 1995 Mike brought his talents to NW Ohio. His expertise in the skilled trades and vast networking connections gave Mike the opportunity to lead the opening of Challenge Machining in February 2021. In just one year, Challenge Machining has doubled the number of jobs it has brought Fremont, OH and invested over $1M in capital equipment.
Mike has been a member of American Legion Post 279 in Elmore, OH for over 20 years and works hard to serve his fellow veterans. When not working, Mike’s family of 13 grandchildren are sure to keep him busy.
